Destinations Covered: Jaipur – Ajmer – Pushkar – Jodhpur – Ranakpur – Udaipur

Day 1: Arrive in Jaipur

On arrival at Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, transfer to your hotel.

Known as the Pink City, Jaipur was painted pink in 1853 to welcome Prince Albert. Founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, Jaipur is one of India’s first planned cities, symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe. The architecture of the city blends Mughal, Jain, and Rajput influences, laid out according to the principles of the Shilpa Shastra.

Afternoon: Free time to explore the vibrant local bazaars for personal shopping or leisure.

Day 2 Jaipur Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur.

Attractions Include:

● Amber Fort: Located 11 km from Jaipur, this magnificent fort built in white marble and red sandstone overlooks the serene Maota Lake. Ride an elephant (subject to availability) or a jeep to the top of the fort and explore the beautiful courtyards and halls.
● City Palace: A majestic complex of palaces, gardens, courtyards, and museums showcasing royal costumes, manuscripts, arms, and artwork.
● Jantar Mantar: An astronomical observatory built in 1726 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, still functioning with precise instruments.
● Shopping in Jaipur: The Pink City is a shopper’s paradise, offering jewelry, textiles, handicrafts, and antiques in its bustling old bazaars.

Day 3 Jaipur – Ajmer – Pushkar – Jodhpur (Approx. 400 km)

After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur with en-route visits to Ajmer and Pushkar.

Ajmer:

Founded by Ajaipal Chauhan in the 11th century, Ajmer is famous for the Dargah of Khwaja Moin-ud-din Chishti, a revered Sufi shrine. Also visit Ana Sagar Lake and admire examples of early Islamic architecture.

Pushkar:

Separated from Ajmer by the Nag Pahar (Snake Mountain), Pushkar is home to one of India’s most sacred lakes and the world-famous Brahma Temple. This holy town is also
known for the Pushkar Camel Fair held annually during Kartik month. Alcohol and non-vegetarian food are not allowed in Pushkar due to its religious significance.

Later, continue your journey to Jodhpur, the Blue City. On arrival, check in at the hotel.

Day 4 Jodhpur – Ranakpur – Udaipur (Approx. 300 km)

After breakfast, enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Jodhpur.

Attractions Include:

● Mehrangarh Fort: Located on a sandstone hill, this massive fort offers panoramic views of the city. Visit the beautifully decorated palace rooms like Sheesh Mahal and Phool Mahal.
● Jaswant Thada: A stunning marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II.
● Sardar Bazaar and Clock Tower: Wander through vibrant markets offering spices, sweets, textiles, silver ornaments, and handicrafts.

Later, drive to Udaipur en route visiting Ranakpur.

Ranakpur:

Home to one of the most important Jain temple complexes in India, dedicated to Lord Adinath. The temple boasts 1,444 intricately carved marble pillars, each unique. (Temples open at 12:00 PM; leather goods and black clothing are not allowed.)

Continue to Udaipur, the City of Lakes. On arrival, check-in at the hotel.

Day 5 Udaipur Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of Udaipur.

Attractions Include:

● City Palace & Museum: The largest palace complex in India, blending Rajput and Mughal styles.
● Jagdish Temple: A beautifully carved 17th-century temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
● Saheliyon ki Bari: The Garden of the Maids of Honour, known for its fountains, marble pavilions, and lotus pools.
● Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal: A museum of folk arts, showcasing traditional Rajasthani culture.
● Fatehsagar Lake: Enjoy a scenic drive around the lake.

Evening: Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola, with stunning views of the city, ghats, and palaces. Visit Jag Mandir Island, known for its exquisite architecture and historical charm.

Day 6 Depart Udaipur

After breakfast, transfer to Udaipur Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
