8 Days South India Temple & Heritage Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Madurai

On arrival, proceed to Madurai. Check-in to the hotel. After freshening up, proceed for local sightseeing. Visit the Meenakshi Amman Temple, Alagar Temple, and Thirumalai Nayakkar Mahal.

Day 2 Madurai – Trichy

After breakfast, proceed to Trichy (Tiruchirappalli). Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel. Later, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Trichy. Visit Mariamman Temple, Sree Ranganathaswamy Temple (Srirangam), and Rock Fort Temple.

Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 Trichy – Tanjore

After breakfast, drive to Tanjore (Thanjavur). Visit the famous Brihadeeswarar Temple, Thanjai Mamani Koil, Vijayanagar Fort, Tanjore Palace, and Art Gallery.

Day 4 Tanjore – Chidambaram – Pondicherry

After breakfast, proceed to Chidambaram. Visit the famous Nataraja Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva in his cosmic dance form. Explore other nearby temples. Later, drive to Pondicherry.

Check-in to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 5 Pondicherry Sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Pondicherry. Visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville, the international township designed by French architect Roger Anger. Return to the hotel.

Day 6 Pondicherry – Tirupati

After breakfast, drive to Tirupati. On arrival, check-in to the hotel and proceed for Lord Balaji Darshan at Tirumala Temple. Later, visit Padmavathi Temple, Govindarajaswami Temple, Sri Kodandaramaswami Temple, Kapileswaraswami Temple, and Kalyana Venkateswaraswami Temple.

Overnight stay at the hotel in Tirupati.

Day 7 Tirupati – Chennai

After breakfast, proceed to Chennai. Check-in to the hotel. Visit Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Parthasarathy Temple, Government Museum, and Marina Beach.

Day 8 Departure from Chennai

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Chennai airport or railway station for your onward journey. Return home with beautiful memories of your South India heritage trip.
